Review

As I was leaving early for work today I started early. After a very quick shower and a small coffee, I sat down quickly and started to go through the preparations from “The Mind Illuminated”. I got comfortable on the cushion and also had some essential oils in a heater. I had similar intentions to yesterday but went through all of them again.

After setting my intentions I counted ten breaths and then settled in to just breathing in and out at the nose. It was at this point I realised that I hadn’t set the timer. I then set the timer to twenty minutes as I didn’t know how long I’d been going, but needed to leave around 7am. This did not really seem to take away from the meditation. As I set the time I very quickly fell back into the process.

The attention was quite firm today, and although some distractions did take place my I felt a noticeable ‘progress’ today
